Hire a remote working employee in Germany as a Swiss company?
We would like to hire a new developer for our company based in Zurich. We found a highly skilled developer in Dresden, Germany and want to move forward in hiring him. He would like to work remotely from Dresden but would like to be properly hired by our Swiss company.
My question is the following: Can and how does a Swiss based company hire somebody who is based in Germany? Is it possible to make him part of your company and cover his insurance, social costs etc? Or do we need to pay him as a Freelancer?
